Initial Assessment - Early Bird £150
(55 minutes)
A comprehensive assessment to determine the most appropriate package of care of the individual.
This session includes:
Case history, vocal assessment, goal setting and review of developmental history, health, wellbeing and any reasonable adjustments and access requirements.
Specialist Voice Therapy - Early Bird £120
Only for clients who have completed an initial assessment
Individualised, gender voice therapy for trans and gender-diverse young people.
A structured programme supporting voice alignment, vocal health and communication confidence.
This includes:
Voice lifting and feminisation
Voice lowering and masculinisation
Pre-puberty voice support (for those AMAB to understand vocal changes associated with Testosterone puberty and support self-empathy approach)
Post Testosterone Specialist Gender Voice Therapy (for those taking Testosterone to monitor and manages vocal changes)
Rapport Building Sessions - £70-80 (30-40 minutes)

Structured clinical engagement for:
· Anxiety reduction

Clinical Supervision- Early Bird £100 (60 minutes)
Specialist Clinical Supervision in transgender voice (adults, children and young people)
Sarah provides clinical supervision for speech and language therapists in the field of transgender voice (for adults, children and young people).
The frequency of sessions is determined individually with each therapist according to their clinical needs and the requirements of their service.
Clinical supervision can be long term to support therapist regularly seeing clients in the field and on an ad-hoc case by case basis for therapists supporting trans and gender diverse individuals with a speech, language communication or voice needs. When appropriate clinically indicated Sarah is able to provide a joint approach with other professionals.
Sarah is able to approach supervision with knowledge and experience from independent sector services, NHS local voice services, NHS Gender Services (both adults and children and young people).
On a personal note Sarah is passionate about encouraging therapist to develop convince and skills working with trans and gender diverse children and young people. There can be a lot of noise when starting work in this field but the children and young people are wonderful and rewarding to work with.

Sarah is passionate about encouraging therapist to develop confidence and skills working with trans and gender diverse children and young people. Some suggested lectures and workshops (appropriate for university courses, CEN events, NHS and corporate CPD events) are included on the website.
Introduction to transgender voice working with adults

Be able to define the term cultural competence and have awareness of relevant terminology
Know the members and understand the roles of the MDT
Explain the key components of a comprehensive assessment and how to measure therapy outcomes
Understand the fundamental principles of voice therapy techniques
Introduction to speech and language therapy for children and young people’s gender care
(Half and full day workshops)
Supporting attendees to:
Understand the role of speech and language therapy in the care of children and young people who are trans, gender diverse or gender questioning.
Be able to define the term cultural competence and have awareness of relevant terminology
Know the members and understand the roles of the MDT
Explain the key components of a comprehensive assessment and how to measure therapy outcomes
Understand the fundamental principles of voice therapy techniques
Understand the current political landscape and relevant legislations
Awareness of the relevant reports and clinical guidelines and their relevance to speech and language therapists). This includes the Cass and Sullivan Reviews.

EHCPs - speech and language therapy for voice (is impacting a young person in their education setting can be requested) - please see my resource for information gathering and advocacy (ideally completed by a speech and language therapist but any professional or caregiver could use).
